Photograph of a large high-ceilinged room with grey walls and white ceiling. Filling the room are four round tables that each seat 8 people. Most people are seated with drinks and cutlery set out ready for a meal, while a few others are standing and talking, or making their way to their seats.

I was pleased to be invited to speak for the Rotary Rushen & Western Mann chapter of the Rotary International organisation on Tuesday 28 November.

Hosted by Matt Williams, following an introduction by Cecilia Ngotho, I was pleased to dine with club president Mike Johnson at the Falcon’s Nest in Port Erin.

Following an excellent dinner, I took the speaking slot to deliver a presentation to the fifty members, sharing my professional history to date. Spanning my military service, transition into tech, and delivering for clients during international adventures, I was pleased to have my talk warmly received with pertinent questions from the audience.

Thanks to Mike, Matt and Cecilia for the opportunity to speak to the members.

Above and beyond!
